Good Food

Last night Jared and I met up with Brad and Wen for some delicious vietnamese food. We went to Xanh on Castro St. in Mountain View. Everything we had was savoury. All of the flavors were quite tasty.
Jared and I happy with a stomach full of yummy food.

Widgets

So, on Mac computer you have these fun little things called widgets. Well, one of mine is a Chi-Pet. It's thriving well because I water it.

Cathy, (a really awesome math teacher at work) failed to water hers and this is what happened. HAHAHAHAHAHA "You Failed to Water Your Chia." It was turned upside down.

The 80's are back...for today

This week is theme week for the Junior High and since I'm the 7th grade advisor I needed to be spirited and dressed up. Today was 80's day.
I'm wearing blue eye shadow and green mascara. You can see Doug tried to get in the photo. HAHAHAHAHA.

Fresh food

My Mother has been out of town for a while. She just returned from an exhausting 8 days of watching my nephew Johnny while my sister and bro-in-law were in Europe with Hudson. Jared and I went over Sunday to make her a yummy meal. We had roasted peppers, tri-tips, tomato's from the garden with cucumbers and basil, wild rice and berries for dessert. It was delicious.

No clothes...new clothes

Jared needed new clothes so we headed up to the city and enlisted Amand (because she is a shopping expert) and helped him pick out some new threads.

Jared is very excited to look so good at work the next day.

Sunshine

I finally had a chance to see Little Miss Sunshine. Jared and I wore our sunglasses to the movie so we wouldn't hurt our eyes. (HA HA)

Moroccan Food

Adrian's family was in town and invited us to eat Moroccan food in the city with his family. It was delicious. Succulent, savory flavors wer had. There was a belly dancer for entertainment.

Adrian was happy to give her lots of tips.

Alcatraz Swim

Seven of us decided to do the Alcatraz swim this year. I've done it in the past and had a fun time so I decided to get some people to do it with me. It is a 1.5 mile swim. They take us out on a boat to Alcatraz and then we jump off and swim.

Here's our team, "The Wakemakers." Bryan, Kristine, Ashley, Jared and me.

Adrian did it also. Here's him stretching before the swim.

Yes, I was in a good mood before the swim. Not so much after.
Me, Brian and Kristine in our Batman suits.

The Wakemakers after the swim.
Me and Adrian, happy that it's over.
Liz and Julie were a part of the huge group who came to cheer us on.
Kim came to cheer us on also. She rocks!

The Wakemakers

For the Alcatraz swim we decided to make Henna tattoos with a logo that Jared designed. It's our feet leaving the wake behind because out team is called "The Wakemakers."

Bryan is very excited to get a tattoo.

This is the fabulous Amanda.
This is me falling backwards on the rocking chair at the Pink house. I leaned back a bit too far.

Amanda was kind enough to draw the tattoos on our feet since she's an excellent drawer. The results.
